Louis -
I was recently made aware of a clip from a Conan O'Brien show where you talked about "everything's amazing and nobody's happy". I linked to it on my blog, because I feel that that's exactly where we are as a society, and I never heard anyone say it as succinctly as you did.
I used my blog link to show it to a client today and found that NBC had it pulled from YouTube due to proprietary rights.
My brother Phil, an astronomer with the second-most popular science site in the world had posted it on his site, which is where I found it. Between Phil and I, you have been introduced to literally hundreds, if not thousands of people who did not know you before. However, we can no longer show the clip.
Is there some way to acquire secondary rights to it? Do you have any idea how I can pursue that? You made such a great point, and I hate to think I will never see it again.
You can reach me through the address I entered with this post, and you can check out the post I have on my site where I linked to the video. It's at blog.plaitsolutions.com/2008/11/22/wonder-vs-entitlement--where-did-we-go-wrong.aspx.
Thanks in advance for your response!
